Keep Udhar: Money You Gave or Got

Note money you lent or borrowed, mark it paid back, and get a reminder when a friend has owed you for a while.

Udhar is money you gave a friend, or took from one, outside any bill. In Split, tap + and choose Udhar.

Add udhar

  • Choose I Gave or I Got.
  • Pick the friend: From Contacts, or Type Name (friends you have money with show as you type).
  • Enter the Amount and a Note, such as Movie tickets.
  • You gave it by: UPI / Bank / Card or Cash, then tap Save Udhar.
Add Udhar: I Gave ₹500 to Arjun for movie tickets

The Udhar page

Tap Udhar in the footer: You’ll get and You owe, the tabs Open, Settled and Activity, the friends who owe you and whom you owe, and each entry with Edit, View and Remove.

Udhar: You'll get ₹2,000, You owe ₹500

When it comes back

Tap View on the entry, then Mark paid, or Remind to send the friend a message with the amount and your UPI details. When the money arrives by UPI and your bank sends an SMS, SkyloFin can mark it paid for you: see settle up and reminders.

Udhar reminders

In your Profile, under Money, Udhar Reminders sends you a notification when a friend still owes you after 3, 7 (the default) or 14 days, at most one a day. Choose Off to stop them. The reminder is for you; SkyloFin never messages your friend.
