How much of my CTC do I take home each month?
Your CTC is what the company spends on you in a year, not what reaches your bank account. Enter your CTC and how your salary is split; you will see the gross salary, the PF and tax taken out, and the in-hand amount each month.
In-hand a month
₹88,268
Indicative only. Your lender’s figures may differ. Nothing you enter here is sent anywhere or stored.
Basic is your CTC × the basic share. The employer's PF (12% of basic, or of ₹15,000 a month at the PF wage ceiling) and gratuity (4.81% of basic, when it is in your CTC) are part of CTC but never paid monthly, so they come off first: what is left is your gross salary.
From the gross, your own PF (the same 12%), professional tax and income tax are taken. Income tax uses this site's income tax maths for FY 2026-27: the new regime with its ₹75,000 standard deduction and rebate, or the old regime with ₹50,000, your 80C items (your PF counts, up to ₹1.5 lakh) and the professional tax you pay. Above ₹50 lakh the surcharge is added.
In-hand a month is what is left, divided by 12.

CTC includes money you never receive monthly: the employer's PF, gratuity and sometimes bonuses. Your own PF, professional tax and income tax then come out of the gross salary.
No. This calculator leaves out the HRA exemption, and its 80C box is capped at ₹1.5 lakh, so HRA cannot go there. Under the old regime part of your HRA can be tax free: work it out with the HRA calculator, then compare both regimes in the income tax calculator with it added to the deductions. The new regime gives no HRA exemption.
No. States set it, up to ₹2,500 a year; some states charge none. Change it to what your payslip shows.
Close, not exact: allowances, variable pay, meal cards and your employer's own structure change the split. Use your offer letter's break-up for the closest answer.
