Your First Sync: How Transactions Appear

After you allow SMS, the app reads the last 90 days of bank messages and your transactions appear.

As soon as Bank SMS is on, SkyloFin reads the bank and card messages already on your phone from the last 90 days and turns each one into a transaction. It usually takes a few seconds.

While it runs

The top of the Dashboard shows Checking SMS… with Reading your bank messages. When it is done you see how many were found, and your balance, income and spending fill in.

See what was found

Your latest transactions are under Recent Transactions, with the merchant, category, account and date. All of them are in the Txns tab.

New messages are added on their own

From now on, each new bank SMS is added as it arrives. Tap the sync icon beside the balance, or pull down on the Dashboard, to check again.

Tip: If the Dashboard says Sync failed, pull down to retry, do that. A payment missing? See Report a problem.
