The Easy card earns 5 reward points per Rs 100 on movies, groceries and department stores, and 1 point per Rs 100 elsewhere. At about 20 paise a point, that is roughly 1% and 0.2% back. You also get 500 bonus points after spending Rs 5,000 in the first 60 days.
The fee is ₹500 a year, waived when you spend ₹35,000 in the year. That is under Rs 3,000 a month, so most regular users will not pay it.
It suits first-time card users and people who want a simple card for groceries and UPI payments. The catch is the low return. Even on bonus categories it is about 1%, the bonus is capped each month, and the 3.5% forex markup makes it a poor choice abroad.
Best for: First-time credit card users, Grocery and movie spenders, People who want a credit card on UPI.
