The fee is ₹1,000 a year, waived at ₹1,20,000 of annual spend, which is Rs 10,000 a month. If you eat out and travel regularly, you should clear it without trying.
It suits people who travel within India a few times a year and dine out often. You get one domestic lounge visit each quarter, which needs Rs 20,000 of spend in the previous quarter, plus accident cover up to Rs 10 lakh. The catch is the 3.5% forex markup, which cancels out most of the 2.5% you earn on foreign spends.
