The Play card has one main job. Spend Rs 5,000 in a month and you get 2 free movie or event tickets on BookMyShow, worth up to Rs 250 each. That is up to Rs 500 of value a month. Other rewards are thin, about 0.25% on spends.
It costs ₹500 a year and the fee is waived once you spend ₹1,50,000 in the year. One month of free tickets covers the fee, so for regular movie goers it pays for itself quickly.
It suits people who go to the movies or events every month. The catch is that if you do not, the card gives you very little, since the base reward is among the lowest around.
Best for: Regular movie goers, People who book events on BookMyShow, Couples who watch films together.
