This is the higher LIC card from Axis and it is lifetime free, with no joining or annual fee. You earn 2 reward points per Rs 100 on LIC premiums and international spends, worth about 1.9%, and 1 point per Rs 100 on everything else, worth about 0.95%. It works on UPI.
You also get up to 2 domestic lounge visits a quarter, personal accident cover up to Rs 5 lakh, air accident cover up to Rs 1 crore and purchase protection up to Rs 1 lakh. For a card with no fee, that is a solid package.
It suits LIC policyholders earning Rs 30,000 a month or more who want a free card with real rewards. The catch: lounge visits need Rs 50,000 of spend in the previous quarter, and the 3.5% forex fee cancels out the higher rate on foreign spends.
Best for: LIC policyholders, Salaried people wanting a free all-rounder, Occasional domestic flyers.
