The fee is ₹3,000 plus GST and it is waived only at ₹8 lakh annual spend. Most users will pay it, so the welcome points, lounges and golf need to cover it.
It suits salaried users who travel and play golf. The catch is lounge access: domestic visits, 2 a quarter, need Rs 50,000 spend in the previous quarter, and the card has a 3.5% forex markup.

- Flyers: 14 airport lounge visits a year
Skip it if…
- you spend less than ₹66,667 a month (₹8,00,000 a year, rent and wallet loads not counted): the ₹3,540 fee is then charged
- most of your spending is fuel, utility bills, rent or insurance: those earn nothing on this card
- you pay mostly by UPI: a Visa or Mastercard card cannot pay by UPI
- you rarely spend on groceries: the 2% rate applies only there, everything else earns 1%
- you often pay in foreign currency: 3.5% is added to every foreign spend
- you sometimes pay only the minimum due: interest of 3.75% a month (45% a year) outweighs any reward
