This co-branded card earns Marriott Bonvoy points. You get 8 points per Rs 150 at participating Marriott hotels, 4 per Rs 150 on travel, dining and entertainment, and a lower rate on everything else, worth about 0.8% in value. On joining you get one Free Night Award worth up to 15,000 Bonvoy points and Silver Elite status.
The fee is ₹3,000 a year and there is no spend-based waiver, so you pay it every year. The free night alone can be worth more than the fee if you use it at a good Marriott property.
It suits people who stay at Marriott hotels a few times a year. The 12 domestic and 12 international lounge visits come with no spend condition. The catch is that points only make sense inside the Marriott programme. If you never stay at Marriott, a regular rewards card will serve you better.
Best for: Regular Marriott hotel guests, Travellers who value hotel status, Frequent flyers who want lounge access.
